Frick India High Speed Recipricating Compressors offer six models, ranging from a nominal 2-cylinder machine to the nominal 16-cylinder model, with a maximum run at 1200 RPM. These compressors have built-in capacity reduction steps for ecomonical operation at reduced loads. This compressor can be installed virtually anywhere, inculing on upper levels, as noise and vibration are kept to a minimum, due to the use of precise and quick-acting ring plate suction and discharge valves.

The 450XL compressor can work in conditions with up to a 17.2 bar differential and can operate with ammonia, halocarbon and even some hydrocarbon refrigerants, making it extremely versitile and able to function under various refrigeration conditions. It can run at high compression ratios all the way up to 12:1 with certian halocarbon refrigerants. The compressors can be either belt or direct driven, with a maximum of 224kW when connected via a V-belt and a limit of 285kW when directly driven.
